What You'll Notice
Lower cruising RPM makes for a noticeably quieter cabin at highway speed, along with the potential for improved fuel economy from running the engine at lower RPM during steady-state driving.
Recommended If Your Car Has High Mileage
If your car has over 100,000 miles, plan to also replace your transmission gear oil (2 liters needed) and transmission seal at the same time as installing the 5th gear.
