KermaTDI recommends replacing both together. A worn DMF transmits vibration and shock load into a new clutch disc, shortening its life — and once a flywheel is off, labor cost to redo the job later far exceeds the parts cost now.
What's the difference between LuK RepSet and RepSet Pro?
RepSet Pro includes the concentric slave cylinder (CSC) in the kit, so the hydraulic release bearing is replaced along with the clutch — eliminating a second point of failure inside the bellhousing that would otherwise require another transmission removal to access.
