This is the OEM exhaust flapper valve (also called a throttle valve) used on VW/Audi common-rail 2.0L TDI engines. It regulates exhaust backpressure as part of the EGR system.

Primary: 1K0253691D. Alternate/superseded numbers for the same part: 1K0253691J, 1K0253691F, 1K0253691G.

What else is needed for installation
This valve does not include everything needed for a complete replacement. Sold separately:

  • Exhaust flapper valve clamp, part 1K0253725B
  • 2x exhaust gaskets, part 1K0253115AE
