What it is
This is a set of 4 Bosio Power Plus 1043 injector nozzles for VW's Pumpe Düse (PD) unit-injector diesel engines. It's a redesign based on the stock PD150 nozzle used in European ASZ and ARL models.

Critical warning — do not install yourself
Changing nozzles on PD unit injectors requires specialized tooling and skill not generally available to home mechanics. KermaTDI strongly states that DIY installation will very likely destroy your unit injectors, which are expensive to replace. Professional calibration and nozzle mounting service is required, not just recommended.

Performance expectations — realistic, not guaranteed

• Supports 130–210 hp total output, with supporting modifications
• Actual power gain depends on ECU tuning/calibration and the mechanical condition of the vehicle — the ECU controls peak fuel delivery, so KermaTDI cannot promise a specific power number
• Rough guideline from KermaTDI's experience: up to ~100hp per liter of engine displacement, with appropriate ECU and hardware upgrades
• Expect more smoke at full throttle unless the ECU calibration is also updated to complement the nozzles
• May slightly improve fuel economy even on a stock BEW/BRM/BHW ECU

Fuel compatibility and warranty limits

• ULSD (ultra-low sulfur diesel) rated, using DLC coating for low-lubricity fuel compatibility
• 5-year unlimited-mileage warranty applies only when running ULSD, up to a maximum of ASTM-spec B20 biodiesel (SME or RME blends only) — and only when installed with KermaTDI's calibration service
• Running fuel outside this spec, or installing without KermaTDI calibration, is outside the stated warranty terms

Can I install these nozzles myself to save money? Not recommended. KermaTDI states DIY installation on PD unit injectors requires specialized tooling most people don't have access to, and attempting it will likely ruin the expensive injector units.
