Who the 1019 is for: This is the larger T4-style nozzle (.216 mm) — the right choice if you're running or planning a turbo upgrade and building toward higher power. It supports 120–190 hp with supporting mods (tune, turbo). Want a milder bolt-on for a mostly-stock street car? The Bosio 520 is the better middle-of-the-road pick. Not sure which fits your build? Built for today's fuel. The 1019 is a direct upgrade replacement for the OEM "T4-150hp" nozzle, but with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coated needle. Modern ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) strips lubricity that older nozzles relied on, accelerating wear; the DLC coating cuts sliding friction and delivers roughly double the service life of an uncoated nozzle on ULSD — while improving fuel economy and lowering emissions. More power than OEM, and it lasts longer doing it.
