Peloquin diff for Mk4 1.8t, TDI, or vr6 02J (5speed and 6speed, please specify when ordering)

Put the power to the ground! These differentials are the best on the market today and are made in the USA. The differential housings are made from either 4320 or 8620 steel. The gears are from 9310 steel. All internal parts are CNC machined from billet material to the closest factory specifications, heat treated, Sub-O, and shot peened.

Peloquin differentials come with bolt kits, installation instructions, and a transferable limited lifetime warranty.

PLEASE NOTE: Because some 02J differentials require a different ring gear, we require your VIN number prior to shipping. (We also need to know if you have had your Transaxle replaced by V.W. under warranty)

(5speed and 6speed, please specify when ordering)

We highly recommend having your differential installed by a professional mechanic.

These kits should be installed in a transmission that is in good working condition. They are not designed to correct existing problems. Repair any deficiencies before installing the kit, Before beginning it is recommended that the repair manual be consulted for transmission configuration and parts familiarization.

Always follow factory-recommended procedures. You may obtain appropriate literature from any dealer or after market supplier. Kerma will be more than willing to assist with any installation questions if needed. Just call or e-mail.

Removing Rivet - Make sure the Differential is square to drill. Start with a 21/64th drill bit drilling from the differential side opposite ring gear drill 3/4 deep from the face
of the rivet. Keep the drill in the center of the rivet. Now use a 1/2 drill bit to remove the rivet head. Then use a 5/16 drift and put inside 21/64 hole and tap out the remainder of the rivet.

NOTE: Torque spec. change using 30wt oil is now 105ft lbs with ARP Bolts.
