What It Is
A set of four genuine Bosio PowerPlus 520 nozzles, KermaTDI's recommended middle-of-the-road nozzle upgrade for most Mk4 ALH TDIs, also effective on other VE-pump TDI engines. KermaTDI is the exclusive factory-authorized importer and distributor of genuine Bosio nozzles in North America.
What You'll Notice
Built to a Tighter Standard
Bosio's PowerPlus nozzles use tighter manufacturing tolerances and hardened wear surfaces than OEM parts, backed by a .2146mm orifice and ULSD-rated construction. The PowerPlus 520 is the direct flow replacement for the older T4-150hp DSLA150P1019-764 nozzle, now with DLC coatings for added durability.
Getting the Most Out of It
Paired with the Q-Loader flash programmer, Kerma custom tuning, and a mild turbo upgrade, this nozzle set can support 150 to 160 whp. KermaTDI strongly recommends its Injector Calibration Service alongside these nozzles, since proper calibration is what actually delivers the nozzle's intended performance rather than a rough, uncalibrated result.
Warranty
5 year, unlimited mileage warranty when installed through KermaTDI's calibration service.
Fitment
1996-2003 Volkswagen Golf, Jetta, Jetta Wagon, New Beetle, and Passat with a VE-pump TDI engine (AHU, 1Z, ALH).
Common Questions
Do I need tuning to see a benefit from these nozzles?
No. They work with or without tuning, though pairing them with Kerma's tuning and a mild turbo upgrade unlocks the higher end of their potential, up to 150-160 whp.
Will this work with an automatic transmission car?
KermaTDI notes this nozzle is the best choice for most applications besides automatic transmission cars specifically, so check with them if you're running an automatic.
Is calibration really necessary?
Yes, KermaTDI strongly recommends it. Calibration is what properly sets up the nozzles for their intended performance rather than running them uncalibrated.
Can I buy just one nozzle instead of a full set?
Yes, single PowerPlus 520 nozzles are available separately if you only need to replace one.
Does this fit my common rail TDI?
No. This nozzle is built for the older VE-pump 1.9L TDI engines (AHU, 1Z, ALH), not the later PD or common rail engines.
