What It Is
Genuine Bosio DLC 706 nozzles, set of 4, an upgraded-quality stock replacement for VE-pump TDI engines. This is the nozzle that replaced the recalled units under the 1999 Smoke Fix Recall (Bosch DSLA 150P 442 and 357), and it's a direct replacement for the stock Bosch DSLA 150P 706 and DSLA 150P 672 nozzles.
Flow Settings
Flow settings above Stage III aren't offered on this nozzle, since the resulting exhaust gas temperatures at the turbo would run excessively high.
Works Well With Your Stock ECU
This nozzle performs well on a completely stock ECU, no tuning required.
A Note on Fuel Economy
Because the OEM design behind this nozzle prioritized slower injection and reduced NOx over fuel economy, this nozzle type won't deliver optimized mileage. If maximum fuel economy is your goal, KermaTDI recommends the Bosio DLC 520 nozzle instead, which can net a 4-6 MPG gain thanks to its improved injection window.
Connector Compatibility Warning
Confirm your car's connector type before ordering. 2002.5 model year cars are often mistakenly called 2003s, but they actually use the older 1996-2002.5 style #3 injector harness connector. True 2003 connectors are relatively rare, so physically check your car's connector style rather than going by model year alone.
