Critical Note If You're Rebuilding the Engine
If you're replacing the engine block, rods, crankshaft, or pistons, you must measure piston protrusion at TDC above the block deck before selecting your head gasket. That measurement needs to fall between .91mm and 1.20mm, paired with the correct gasket thickness, to land on the right compression ratio.
