Digital Calibration and Nozzle Mounting for Pumpe Duse (PD) Injectors, Set of 4
Pumpe Duse (PD) unit injectors combine the nozzle and a 2,000 bar high pressure pump into a single assembly for each cylinder. This design gives every cylinder its own dedicated injection event, which is why PD systems deliver tighter combustion control than earlier common rail or distributor pump setups. When that precision drifts out of spec, it shows up as rough idle, smoke, or lost torque, not just lost horsepower.
KermaTDI's calibration service restores that precision. Every injector goes through a full teardown and inspection, ultrasonic cleaning, and a rebuild that recalibrates the two stage injection event on each unit individually. We can set injectors back to factory OEM specification, or build a custom pressure setup for race or off-road applications using our in-stock range of new nozzles, OEM shims, and internal alignment pins.
Every service now includes four new injector hold-down bolts and seal kits, so the job is complete when it leaves our shop.
What this service does not cover: we recalibrate and replace the injection section of the PD injector. We do not rebuild the internal electronics or pump section. If your injectors have failed outright, they need to be replaced with new units, which we typically stock. Injectors that have run waste vegetable oil or alternative fuels, or that have thrown fault codes or show physical damage, may not be rebuildable. In that case, we recommend new Bosch PD injectors and we waive the teardown inspection fee.

A PD injector is a unit injector: it combines the nozzle and a 2,000 bar high pressure pump into one assembly per cylinder. Because each injector is a self-contained precision system, wear in the nozzle or seals throws off the two-stage injection event. Calibration restores that precision without the cost of buying four new injectors, as long as the core is in rebuildable condition.
Can KermaTDI rebuild any PD injector I send in? Not always. This service covers the injection section (nozzle, seals, mounting). We cannot rebuild the internal electronics or the pump section. Injectors that have run waste vegetable oil or alternative fuels, thrown fault codes, or sustained physical damage may not be candidates for rebuild. We'll inspect and let you know; if the core isn't rebuildable, we recommend new Bosch PD injectors and waive the teardown inspection fee.
