What it is
This is an upgraded side-mount intercooler (SMIC) plumbing kit, sized 2.5" on the lower pipe and 2" on the upper pipe, larger than the factory plumbing diameter, intended to improve airflow to the intercooler.
What this kit does NOT fit, read before ordering
Turbo-specific requirements, this determines what else you need to buy:

Common questions
Does this kit work with my stock VNT17/22 or 1726 turbo without buying anything else? Yes, those turbos don't need the adapter that S7/VNT17ALH setups require, since there's no 90° pipe to the intercooler on those turbo types.
Will this fit my 1999 Jetta or Golf? Only if your car's SMIC plumbing does NOT have the 3-bar adapter built into the upper plumbing. If it does, this kit isn't compatible as-is.
Does this work on a BEW-engine car? Only with KermaTDI's upgraded SMIC intercooler (a separate product), plus turbo reclocking, the 1.75" adapter, and possibly modifying the lower intercooler pipe. KermaTDI describes this combination as attempt-at-your-own-risk, not a guaranteed plug-and-play path.
Can I use this with a New Beetle? No, not currently compatible with this kit.
