What It Is
An upgraded side-mount intercooler (SMIC) that replaces the factory unit on Mk4 ALH TDI cars, built to work with your existing stock plumbing for a straightforward installation.
Why Upgrade It
The stock intercooler is a limiting factor once you start pushing more boost or adding other performance parts. This upgraded core gives your turbo system more room to work, supporting more usable power rather than getting choked by undersized factory cooling.
Sensor Compatibility
Comes plumbed for the smaller 3 Bar MAP sensor, and the smaller PD 2.5 Bar MAP sensor can also be used with it.
Important Compatibility Note
This intercooler does not currently fit the New Beetle.
Fitment
1999-2003 Mk4 Golf and Jetta TDI, and 2002-2003 Mk4 Jetta Wagon TDI, all with the ALH engine code.
