Who the 1019 is for: This is the larger T4-style nozzle (.216 mm), the right choice if you're running or planning a turbo upgrade and building toward higher power. Built for today's fuel. The 1019 is a direct upgrade replacement for the OEM "T4-150hp" nozzle, but with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coated needle. Modern ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) strips lubricity that older nozzles relied on, accelerating wear. The DLC coating cuts sliding friction and delivers roughly double the service life of an uncoated nozzle on ULSD, while improving fuel economy and lowering emissions. More power than OEM, and it lasts longer doing it.
