The same balance shaft delete kit KermaTDI offers for the BHW engine, but built with BRM components instead of the standard ALH-based parts. It removes the balance shaft assembly and replaces it with a more reliable oil pump setup, addressing a known weak point on the factory design.

It's built with BRM components in place of the standard ALH-based parts, for customers who prefer that configuration.
Does this kit include everything needed for the install?
Not quite. You'll still need to source JB Weld, oil pan sealant, an 11/32" drill bit, and an adjustable tap socket with a 3/8" to 1/8" pipe tap separately.
Why would I choose BRM components over the standard kit?
Some customers prefer the BRM parts for their Passat build; both versions address the same underlying issue with the factory balance shaft.
