What It Is
A set of 4 OEM glow plugs made by NGK, steel-cased with a ceramic tip, representing VW's latest update for BEW and BHW engines. These are 7V glow plugs, and they're a direct replacement for the 7V plugs some of these cars originally came with from the factory.
The Backstory on Why There's a "7V Updated" Version
VW issued a service bulletin at one point calling for a switch to 5V glow plugs (part number N10591607). Later, VW reversed that guidance in a subsequent reflash, known as the 28F6/T9 service bulletin, returning to 7V glow plugs. This set (N10591609) is the current, up-to-date part as a result of that history.

Common Questions
Why are there both 5V and 7V glow plug options for my engine?

Will this work if my car never had the service bulletin applied?
Yes, these glow plugs are compatible with the original factory ECU as well as both service bulletin states.
How many plugs come in this set?
4, enough for a full replacement.
What brand are these?
