If you have the old head gasket, you can count the number of circular (NOT OBLONG) circles on the tab that protrudes from the cylinder head. The head does not have to be removed to make this determination. Some measuring is involved if you don't have the old head gasket. Please get in touch with Kerma for details.
Note: When replacing the engine block, rods, crankshaft, and especially pistons, it is imperative to measure piston protrusion at TDC above the block deck in order to select the correct head gasket thickness. Projection MUST fall between .91mm and 1.20mm & have the appropriate head gasket thickness to achieve the correct compression ratio.
